I think me, and some of the other newer guys, that joined after Bay City went down for work on a new mission and server and everything thats going on, are slightly perplexed as to the length of time till we are actually playing. I hear stuff about the mission/map/whatever, every now and then in TS, but no goal date has been set.
Maybe a Date, Give or take afew days to atleast expect a Alpha Phase of the current generation of mission and map?
Besides that, If I sit on TS for.... 30 Days, or nothing is running before the 30 days after my app approval, And I decide to donate, Would I be eligible for BCPD Application?, Or have to wait 30 days again after the mission is back up and running?

I have not spoken with Johnson yet, I am no too sure what the plan is, but I know we're looking at a new server box with Snaju. I'd say if Johnson is not back by nex Saturday or Sunday lets get a server on our own. We will go with reg arma 2 until Johnson gets back and we start looking at an OA mission. Aswl he can Finnish talking with Snaju to see what deals they can give us. But I'd say manning and gorski start looking for a new hoster. Remember no more then 150$ hopefully 120-140$ a month range. Get prices and shit lined up by NLT this weekend.

I agree with Coulter, as a new member i also am looking foward to putting my appl. in BCPD. Its been nearly a month since i have joined with very limited information. As i have never set up a server, I do understand that its not a simple "click of the mouse" to get things up a running. With that said, we are all being patient but would like to be kept in the "loop". I check the web site every day for updates and see that new people are joining so that seems to be good thing. From what i read most people are joining to be part of BCPD ( myself included) and those are the one's who are going to donate to the cause so im not sure why the 30 day wait? Isn't part of the BCPD trainning to ride with a FTO? That should give you some more time to learn the map. I myself will stick it out til the server is up and running. This community seems to have a structure to it and good rules to keep good people playing in it.

I don't think learning the map is a issue, Thats just taking it into the editor and flying around familiarizing myself, If I know how to drive around all of Surprise, AZ in real life without a issue, I dont think a smaller ingame map is going to be a issue with the simulation resources alotted to me.
I look forward to Donating more than the necessary amount in order to help things move along, and get into BCPD/FD, and hopefully take advantage of some the higher donator options.

No you have to waiter 30 days on the server. This allows for a few things; make sue u get along with our members, make sure u know and do not break any rules, and of course to feel you out to make sure you deserve to be in the department. Nothing personal but it's to ensure we hav mature officers.
